Martha Dear, located in Mt. Pleasant NW DC, is looking for an AM Prep Cook to join our team. Our restaurant is known for sourdough pizza and Greek inspired dishes. If you thrive in a fast-paced work environment, enjoy working with a positive team, and have in interest in sourdough, this is the opportunity for you.
Position Details
This position is Tuesday-Saturday, approximately 25-30 hours a week. Weekend availability is required. Kitchen experience also required.
What You’ll do:
- Prep food for nightly service
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Assist in receiving deliveries
- Assist with organizing dry storage
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lb
- Stand for an entire shift’
- Minimum of 1 year in a professional kitchen
- Weekend availability
